Everyone,
I just moved to nyc and am in dessperate need of furniture, especially a work station.I am having a hard time working without a desk. I am also awaiting client checks to my new address so I can open a nyc bank acount.
If you or someone you know has something they would like to donate or sell please let me know.

if you need a desk, wait till wednesday night, start walking block to block in midtown, you'll surely come across a few dozen desks being disguarded that will suite you needs...

from park avenue to 6th avenue, then from 33rd up to 50th or so, just look for large green street containers they dump office funiture into, there is one on practically every block. i've also heard the upper west side tosses out high priced collectables on a weekly basis also...
