There's a bear in my driveway

So I just went to drop off a friend who was at my house and we had heard some rustling in the trash like 10 minutes earlier. As I walk outside I casually remarked "hey theres a bear next to that tree" and then I realized that I was subconciously joking about something that was true... about 6 feet away from me a goddamn black bear starts clawing a tree...
so I scream like a little girl and run back inside... leaving my friend to fend for herself.
Now that's bravery.

Hey... I'm not an art boy... I'm a wilderness man living in the middle of the rocky mountains... things don't get more rugged than that.
You see how brave you are when you're an arms length away from a black bear.
At least it wasn't a grizzly.
It was just the fact that I could kind of see the silouette of something and then when I was too close I realized it was a fucking bear.
and then ran.

Oddly enough the bear was more scared of us... it tried to start climbing up the tree as soon as he saw us.
