hp v epson

so I'm gonna buy a printer today, most likely an epson 1290 but I just saw a HP deskjet 1220 which is also A3+ but its about £100 cheaper... anybody have any experience with it, or any other recommendations? canon? I just need a reasonable A3/A3+ printer thats cheap as possible, nothing too fancy.

Get the Epson, we have one and I cant see it breaking, its been a good lil printer so far, I know people who got the cheaper HP model but they wish they'd got the Epson

don't get the HP ! the colors in the epson are so much better.

i love epsons quality. just make sure the print heads are replacable. they have a tendency to band.
if you go epson, i got the rip software for yawe switched to hp here in the office. the ink literally smells like ass.
