hows the freelance world, thinking of dropping this fulltime lark for the irregular hours of freelance for the summer months

most of the freelance work I have been doing is print, I did one 4 week cd rom in flash a few months ago. Basically been doing it since April and I havn't had more than a week of down time, with servicing my own clients from home.
I'm actually a bit worried about the xmas break being too quiet.

Freelance is rad, I still work fultime for a design & print company and freelance on the side. Mainly static design but getting into web, sorry guys more competition.
Freelance is the best if you can hook up some regulars.
