  how do I do a gradient to one color to no color? in flash.

  1. select your object
  2. goto the color mixer
  3. select fill type
  4. select 1st color
  5. select 2nd color, make it the same as the background
  6. set the alpha of the 2nd color to 0

  this will fade it to transparent
