OSX print finder?!?

anyone know why OSX won't let you print say the desktop or maybe (something i actually want to do) the contents of a CD i just burnt?!? OS9 no worries. what am i doing wrong? pls don't give me the 'take a screenshot and print the pdf of that' old chestnut.

Just do SHIFT COMMAND 3 (whole screen) or SHIFT COMMAND 4 (select what part of screen you desire) and it will generate a PDF - print that
JOB DONE!

add the CTRL, and the print screen is in your Clip board :-)

I didn't know that Celine. It's a great tip... I use 'command+alt+4 -> to pdf on desktop -> to photoshop' a lot. Never knew there was a faster way ;-)

well there's this:
http://swssoftware.com/products/…or you could open up your terminal.app
• type CD [space]
• drag the folder you want the contents of onto the terminal window
•hit [ENTER]
• type LSthis will give you a list of files and folders, just copy it and past it into a text document and print
