when you use the halftone only when you need it there's nothing wrong with it.

well stew's poster is a lot better but what the hell happened to doing just plain rock posters instead of design responsible ones? i dunno. look at kozik's work for instance. design incorrect and for sure typographically incorrect. yet so into your face and visible on the street and just screaming rock 'n roll. imho this poster doesn't say anything. no personality. if i would have to guess it's music the band would make based on this poster i would guess elevator music.
