hey guys... i have friend who has a question I can't answer and since all you guys scared him from signing up here I'm asking the question for him...
He has just a holder page up here...
http://www.craigreidel.com/The problem is that the image background in the JPG shows up darker than the page background in Safari, but in IE and Firefox its all good... he built the page using CSS.
Anbody know what's up with that?, and is there a way to fix it?

This is hopefully a really silly question, but you ARE compareing all of these browsers all on the MacOS platform, correct?
If not, your problem is probably gamma related.

scared friends response...
"the only browser (that i know of) that displays the image differently is Safari 1.2.3 on OSX. every other browser (IE, firefox on both mac and windows) displays the color properly."
