Anybody know the best compression program to get the most quality and least file size for Flash and/or for non flash web images? Thanks.

depends on what you are trying to do exactly. As previously mentioned, Sorenson Squeeze at http://www.sorenson.com does a pretty good job, but then again yo don't need the standalone application anyway as it's incorporated into Flash for what you seem to want to do.

If you're trying to get video into Flash, _definitely_ use Sorenson Squeeze. Its video quality is far better than the "standard" Spark codec that's built into Flash MX 2004. Sorenson Squeeze even does a better job--for the most part--than does the Flash Video Exporter plug-in.

most software based compressors are of a muchness now, sorenson squeeze is good and so is compressor with final cut hd.

I've gotten smaller file sizes with Sorensen Squeeze vs. AE vs. Premiere vs. Max. So, yeah, it's the best for online animations.

definitely sorenson squeeze..if u'r importing images, try to use PNGs instead of JPEG/GIF..

For Flash compression, I believe you are looking for a program called Optimaze by Ideaworks.
