Saw Ghost in the Shell @ in NY last week... I was very disappointed. The animation was absolutely fantastic, but the story line moved unbelievably slow. Yeah, there was a lot of thought put into the story, but it's hard to watch a cartoon drama with a little bit of action every 30 minutes. Too much philosophy and quoting of ancient proverbs... "You can let a jackass wander, but he won't come back a horse."... WTF? SHOOT SOMETHING ALREADY! Now I gotta wait for Appleseed...

saw it last week also and yeh the plotline was slow, but the gfx was pure eyecandy, a must see just for that.
