Only cos we didn't have camera's. Since photography painting etc,, got knocked sideways. That's why we had modernists see? Ultra-realism is for sociopaths. Like old granny's that spend all their time doing ridiculous water-colours of pretty meadows.Black! Black i tell you! It's all Black!

I think nature does a better job than a man slaving over a CRT. I mean he could be building the worlds largest daisy chain, or perhaps a 1:100 scale model of the empire state building made out of popsicle sticks.
Or just sitting outside doodling.
