sorry to hear about that
how did you injure it?

dude. you have no idea how easy you have it.
i tore my acl playing baseball a junior in high school.... 12 years ago. things were WAY different.
the day OF surgery when i woke up my leg was already mush. i stayed in the hospital for 3 days to drain all the goo. when they took the wrapped leg cast thingy off i couldn't believe how many cuts i had.... 5 to be exact.
i rehabbed the whole summer and by the beginning of the next year could walk on it fairly well. they said i'd never play baseball again but i proved them wrong. i had to wear a special brace for a few years but now it's all better... knock on wood.
2 years ago a cousin had the same injury as a junior in high school while playing football. it was an in and out surgery and he was walking on it the next day. no scars only a minor cut. he was 100% in a few weeks. unreal. it took me MONTHS of major rehab.
good luck with yours buddy. i guess the acl is the major repair so at least you got lucky it wasn't that one.

stupid shit... i was on a labor day fishin' trip with grayhood on lake ontario. a definite UDI i guess. (unexplained drunken incident). In efforts to feed the bonfire, I unexpectedly stumbled into the creek and twisted my knee.
wish i had a more exciting story for ya...

shit dude, could've been worse..
could've stumbled into the creek and smashed your skull on a rockhave a speedy recovery

yeah... i guess i got it somewhat easy. ARTHROSCOPY is rad. 1 hour surgery under general anesthesia.
nice recovery there, kona.
inspiring!

I have torn most of my joints ligaments and I am a very stiff person now, I find it quite hard to do technical stuff, but doing bigger tricks off walls or whatever somehow are more secure!!

oh oh oh! the coolest thing is that now you'll be able to tell when it's going to rain!

i can already forecast the rain with my wrist. maybe know i'll be able to forecast hurricanes and save florida's ass next time.

i currently have a very fucked up ACL and MCL... I was told by the doctor that I don't really have an ACL left at this point, although I have ahard time believing that.
I messed mine up in a wicked mtn biking bail a few years ago... i'm basically waiting for my next major bail to mess it up again and then i'm going in for my surgery. Doc says if you can be active with it the way is now go for it.
I am really dreading the day I have to go under.

mine was bearable to limp on, but the second i'd forget about it, it would slip out. the main problem was that i couldn't straighten it all the way because a piece of the ligament was blocking the joint. therefore it forced me to walk like quasimoto.
