I'm the lucky owner of a canadian citizenship/passport wich i never really have used (have a danish i use at the moment)
I have been playing with the idea of working in the states for while, and was wondering if any of you "fellow" canadians know if there is an advantage/disadvantage with your password when it comes to greencard and/or working permit?

From what i hear it's still pretty tough to get in. Unless you have a job lined up and they are going to help you etc.

I know someone who had a job (non design related) linned up in the US and the company was able to help clear paper work a heck of a lot faster than had she done it on her own. Making good bucks I hear too (financial related). But I don't know the whole ins and outs.

why move to the states? canada is so much nicer and if you have a canadian passport you can come here no problem. i am happy because i have a british citizenship too so i can live in any of these coutries!

sorry designerror the reason i can live in those countries is because i am a dual citizen. i am canadian PLUS british so i can live in any british commonwealth country, unfortunately for you a canadian citizenship allows you to live in canada only....

job market is good depending on what you are looking for and where you want to be. for design jobs i would say maybe montreal or ottawa but i am not positive on that one.
