can anyone tell me how to get the small gif to appear in the url display in safari?
what are the deminsions?
btw, sorry for posting the Bush thread outside of the politics thread. didnt know it existed at the time.

dimensions are 16 px by 16 px
i forgot exactly how, but search google for "favicon"
there should be something on it there.

Its actually not a gif
its a ICOmake your image 16 by 16, then save it in photoshop as a BMP and name it Favicon.BMP
then change the extension to ICO (now its favicon.Ico)
Upload that to your server rootand add this line to your index page:

i usually do mine at 32x32. try draggin a 16x16 to a winblows desktop. 32x32 is better. gets resized auto

thnx - didnt think it was a gif or jpg but didnt know what type of file it was.
google search for favicon did the trick.
