So there's this guy in my TV set and everybody is talking about how wonderful ans successful he is... And for some reason I'm not eating from the spoon that's being shoved in my face.
I know he owns the Mavericks now... But what really made him a success?

He was a real pioneer in the area of broadcasting live events on the web, and during the over-inflated dotcom days people were willing to buy these companies for tons of cash.
