ugh - client conundrum

    okay so i am doing a website for a book author, she is really great but i got an email from her asking me to add the book's designer as art director for the website in the website design credits. this by the way is the first mention of credits on the site, they aren't in the copy deck and they aren't in the architecture. anyways, i designed the site after the books design per the clients request. most of the color palette is from the book and the fonts are from the book. but the books designer didn't design the site, i did. she had absolutely nothing to do with it so i am kind of bothered that the client would ask this. what do you think? i mean the designer deserves credit where credit is due but to call her the art director on the website seems a little bloated to me. thoughts?
