We're in Sydney for most of the arvo tomorrow and wanted some recommendations on what to do for two people who havent been there for 10 years or so - any recommendations? Stay on Darling Harbour? Go to Bondi? Catch the ferry to Manly?

wrong timezone for the syndey siders, but i am sure when the sun rises over there, there will be no end of advice from pissed english tourists.
However, I would go to the harbour bridge and walk on top of it..over the big arch...great views, excellent thing to do...then head down to the rocks for some food.,
Mind, I hvant been there for 6 years...I am sure 'the kids' might say something different

Yeah go to the Zoo, it's great. Plus I would recommend going on a short trip around the harbour. You can get on a ferry that does a round trip and just enjoy the day. it should be a nice day tomorrow around 22degreesC. so a ferry trip is good.
walk around the rocks, botanic gardens, opera house (just had a re-furbishment). They're all nice to do!
you could also go to Harry's Cafe de Wheels. get the best meat pies you've ever had ever. it's in... oh crap I forget.... where is it??? man and I know the place so well.

I'd go to the beach-- coogee or bronte and have a barbeque... its getting warmer over there now.. and really you can't beat the beaches.
Head over to the other side of the quay for drinks or food- that new promenade thing is kinda fun.
