Oh wow! My uncle got hold of a load of old Cine films from my Grandparents house. Apart from the joy of seeing my Dad aged about 10 diggin' in the sand on a beach - there's loads of stuff filmed in London C.1950's/1960's...
Some fantasic shots of picadilly circus and trafalgar square... all in colour. The haircuts... omg! I've got 4 DVD's of this stuff...

You shoud get it transferred and then cut it into a vid with some grafx!

thats awesome. I am in the process of getting aload of my cine converted to dv so I can grab it.

Basically my uncle used a digicam and filmed the projection - looks spot on. Then edited on the pc and added the Miles Davis soundtrack...
I'd post some - but I've not got a DVD ripper/drive for the PC... :( Maybe next month.
My Grandad used to work for the first company to make Cine Cameras... hence he shot loads. Apparently my Christening is on there, and my mum and dads wedding.
