can someone recommend how to get bullets to load into dynamic text fields loaded from text files in Flash?
I'm using FFF Star (from Fonts for Flash) and I've tried the %95 suggested from:
http://i-technica.com/whitestuff…
But it doesn't show. Help? I have all glyphs encoded.

does it work with a different font?

use the html function for the dynamic fields.
and use the html code in the textfile -- •

err, nt didn't display that like i wanted.
in the text file type:
the 'and' symbol, the 'hash' symbol, 8, 2, 2, 6.which translates to dot point in html.

use the [li] html tag, it does work.
here's a list of undocumented HTML tags to use with Flash:
//new paragraph with a bullet point
//list of tabstoppositions from left border
//use \t to insert a tabstop into your textnote: It works in MX, however you should update MX2004, This was an issue corrected with the latest updater from Macromedia.

[repost]
LI //new paragraph with a bullet point
TEXTFORMAT //textfieldoptions with following attributes
BLOCKINDENT="20" //textdistance from left border
INDENT="50" //textdistance of first line from left
LEADING="12" //lineheight
LEFTMARGIN="50" //distance from left border
RIGHTMARGIN=" //distance from right border
TABSTOPS="40,100,150" //list of tabstoppositions from left border
//use \t to insert a tabstop into your text

Thanks!
I had been using an ANSI text file and it should've been UTF-8.
Was producing huge problems. Now everything's working well.
Yay!
