of course, shit doesn't work when you need it to. i
for some reason the guides aren't showing up for me in illustrator. i've tried hiding them, locking them, etc etc and no dice.
i'm about to do a reinstall, but if there's something i can do before that and you know about it, please spread the wealth.

could it be that the guides are set to white, and thus invisible??

i don't knwo what it is, but i'd recreate my guides and any time i save it, close it and reopen it the guides are gone....
