Some nice winners there but don't you think such a prestigious award should be open to everyone, regardless of income?
$100 fee to enter a site probably stops some amazing talent getting anywhere near the judges.

I wont even look thu, cos comps like that are utter self glorifying industry bollocks.

Who the hell are the judges...
... oh wait - I thought I cared for a minute.
CA misses the boat with the interactive annual.

Nike got two sites featured...
and one of the judges works for Nike...
Wow.

I've given up on CA. Even though its a honor to be featured in it, the magazine is quite boring.
and about paying 100 just to enter... well, honestly it only makes my question the quality of my work. if i'm confident in something i'd pay for sure

I gotta agree on the Blue London Jeans site by FirstBorn though. That is a classy site.

I agree - there are a few nice sites in there.
BUT - that competition is a travesty. Read the judges bios... I'm sorry, but CA is a disaster.
The other CA annuals charge $40 an entry and when I entered the interactive - it was $120. Why do the other annuals feature about 30 times more work? The interactive annual is expensive and your chances of getting in are narrow based on what's featured.
Print designers and art directors take CA seriously, but I think its the worst web competition out there.
