Any South African NT'ers? I've been in Cape Town for the past week and will be here for another week and a half. Beautiful here.

I lived in Namibia and Cape Town before. The Western Cape is like no other. :)

xrusos, where have you gone along the Cape? I can give you some pointers if you want......

Fine thanks. I'll get to learning Afrikaans just now.
Been all over the Cape. Although I've spent most of my time working with businesses here. I'm working with a collective of consultants to help repurpose businesses with significant potential for growth, as well as equip micro-entrepreneurial ventures in townships.
But on my off days I've made my way around Cape Town, out to the Hex River Valley, top of Table Mtn, the beach right below table mtn., Waterfront, etc. We're staying near Durbanville... so a bit outside of Cape Town.

ok, nice, I taught in Namibia and spent significant time at a friend's pad along the beac area of Camp's Bay. Quite nice. You must of headed over to the Vyneyards in Stellenbosch by now right? Driven the Wine Route up the coast to Durban and back. if not, do it, it's amazing. I once dated an Afrikaans girl from Uitenhage.

I'm actually working with entreprenuerial ventures in Kayamundi, just outside of Stellenbosch. I'm headed there in the morning, then to the vineyards, then to the university, and then a bit further north for a full african experience for dinner/entertainment.

Make sure you check out Dalheim Wineyard or Jordan in Stellenbosch. The Frenchies went down there and then the Dutchies took over the Vyneyards.
Obviously, it goes without saying that the women are BEAUTIFUL. A nice mix of Malay, Arab, Indian, Native Black (Khoi-Khoi) and Caucasian. Food goes the same route. In 'Die Republiek' you cannot go wrong, unless you are attacked which is sometime likely, especially in townships, so be streetwise and watch your ass. ;)
