I'm trying to replicate iPix or Quicktime VR in Flash.
(stitching together a bunch of panoramic photos, and navigating around the image)
Is there any software that could make this easy/faster?

holy shit, if you find one I want to know!!!!

Are we talking spherical or just 360. Since they can be outputed to a java app. (which I know little about) Can that be used by flash instead of qtvr?
- danthon0
What are you using to stitch?

here's something i did, it rotates an object and also rotates the camera.

nice
Have you tryed spherical? What gear did you use?

j_red - that's money... the shot on the right (car's interior) is exactly what I'm talking about.
How'd you do that?
...spherical would be cool, but j_red's 360 flat panning is good enough for me.

Here's my attempt:

You can do it with QTVR software. It creates an image (a .bmp I believe) that I think you have to import into the software.
I also think that there's a program that's actually called photostitch that I've used in a pinch...

I could see getting a 360 quicktime easily into flash, but cubic would be the shit... hmmmm time to resume my research

tested this today.

Kind of clunky, but did the job. Does not support spherical.
overall rating 4 out of 10
Since it does not support spherical it is no fun for me. It will do the job, but if you are handy at flash and only need 360, I would DIY.

ive used realviz sticher for getting your panos to be smooth, and using a cylindrical map inside of flash isnt too hard...here is the stiching software:

thanx TGP, but stitching is not the issue. Its how to get the finished movie viewable in flash. We already have several solutions for 360, but none for spherical. Realviz is a fine product, but for mac I have found ptmac works better for me.
