Why can't firefox make div tags "display: inline" while IE does??
wtf??? I want to place divs on a line without breaking.

prolly a float issue.......i find that floats duct alot when necessary..like in this case potentially.........maybe try floating everything left ( if you are trying to line divs up horizontally )without display inline, and experiment from there

hmm.. didn't work with overflow: visible/hidden, neither position:relative...
any other clues??

have you played with your floats both with a display inline declration and without........just try it........and see...........float: left in a row and see what happens
- kodap0
wait.. you said float .. I'll try it.

yeah, it works.. but screws their width .. weird

set their width then, and i think you got it

I can't believe that the space between the value and "px" on the width atribute was causing that..
Thanks a lot, Versa
