anyone listen to The Books? know of any artists like them? I've sort of been listening to four tet, manitoba, takagi masakatsu stuff lately. It all seems to have that organic electronic thing happening.

Gotta love The Books (and the others you mentioned). The Books are kind of in a world all their own but if you like Four Tet then Fridge is worth checking out. Also, you may like Asa Chang & Junray. Sample here (14.4M Quicktime):
