U KNOW WHAT WOULD BE AWSOME... IF I COULD ACTUALLY PRINT B&W..NO OTHER COLOURS, JUST B&W... APPARENTLY THIS IS TO DIFFICULT AN IDEA TO COMPREHEND FOR EPSON, ADOBE AND MAC.
I'M ALL FOR RICH GRAY'S, BUT I DON'T HAVE MONEY TO BURN, SO BLACK & WHITE WOULD BE GREAT....
IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO PRINT JUST BLACK AND WHITE PDFS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW...

if you're on OS X, there is a drop down menu in the print dialogue box that will switch to just black. my kids use it all the time.

I believe it will print B&W if you turn off caps lock.

Yes, I also believe my sister's 2 month old baby figured out where the BW print option is on his little fisher price laptop/epson configuration.

Believe it or not even if you press black and white some printers won't let you use JUST the black inkwell. My Canon won't do it, you ask their support and they say "oh no, you can't actually print pure black... it has to use colour"...
...what the?...
possibly a ploy to get you to use more of expensive colour?
get a Dot Matrix, they're the new black.
