hey i was just wondering if someone could tell me how to get an effect like this...

...from a black and white photo, where its really grainy and the tones are v sharp..is there a way to get this effect using photoshop?

bring contrast up all the way..

It doesnt look like any strong effect really.... just fairly basic use of grain Filters, Colorise and play with Variations, or use a Sepia filter, and Levels and Brightness/Contrast...
