installed a new dvd drive. works great. iTunes will not shake lose the previous burner driver, it plays cd-rs from the drive, no problem.
should I trash the iTunes prefs?
something else?

Do es the drive(s) show in the 'Burning' tab of the iTunes prefs?

the old drive shows, not the new one - under "burning"
(in 9.2 the new drive shows)

itunes prefs are in one of the library folders (there's two...do a search for 'itunes preferences').
that should fix it...it does show up on your system profile and all right?

search for "itunes preferences" shows only those in os9
a search for "itunes" only comes up 3 in library/prefs

wtf are you doing using 10.15
go out now and get 10.35 FAST... it prob will solve most of your problems... 10.35 is solid
