you could start by fixing up your kerning :)

looks good.
move todd to top or make it white or white on a black box bg, invert it?
separate it somehow from the rest. Caps, or larger maybe

might be interesting to have the lime in color & everything else B&W.

I agree antonelli, but the thing is only going to be greyscale. probably on lime colored paper.
I'm touching up my kerning, nick!!!
thanks peteski, I am playing with the 'todd' text.
Thanks players.

ummm no

hello mrdob. if you are going to put the type on the box you could try bleeding the right hand side of the box off the page and then you can justify the type on the box with the type below

yo.. looking better.. you might wanna give a lil space to the 'd' and the ' on Todd's.. as well as the 'w' and the 'a' on away
a little trick i use when designing flyers that have minimal copy (to give it a little more structure) is breaking up your info copy with headers set in like 7-8pt upper-case Heltvetica. so it would be like:
DATE/TIME:
Monday
September 27, 7pmLOCATION:
Pacific Rim
830 North 3rd StreetMUSIC BY:
Evan Christianits looking like something now though :)

i like ad1's suggestion too

Props to ad1's crit. Also, your text is waaay to close to the border of the flyer. I know it's because there isn't much room to begin with, but you need to let it "breathe" -- needs some space.

you are also using a generic quote mark in the word "Todd's" you should change it to the font's special character quote mark. on a mac it's shift+option+[

now ya talking ;)
- mrdobolina0
bonseff, that shit is dope! Might I gank it?
- pablokorona0
that's better.. the black box was bugging me. I wouldn't mind seeing it on lime paper.
i'd throw the kerning way tight, like -30 or so.. the round warm font you have should be fine.
- blackspade0
yea go with bonseff's dobs :)
i like the line blur behind the glass
gives it depth

go nuts playa, let us see how it ends up.
- mrdobolina0
right on, I was playing with it and I will email you tomorrow with the final product.

can you get all the glass into shot, it also looks like it may be tilted down to the left?.
