Anyone used these people for a flat let in London ?
Good/bad experiences ? Do they charge the tenant a fee for using them ?
Any opinions appreciated

They recently showed me quite a few flats (before I finally found one thru a friend)... Their fee (to the tenant) is higher than most other agents, but good service... and really complete listings on their website, with VR views, maps etc

all the salespeople have their own mini with ghey foxtons grafitti all over it... funny that there properties don't!

As a landlord in Hoxton, I went with a place called Bridge on Curtain Road, Much better.
Foxtons are about 15% more expensive than other agents.

not sure now, but I think the fee for the tenant was £150-200.
But think yourself lucky...In Germany you pay the agent like 1 month rent.

they are absolute fucking bastards and I recommend you steer clear of them. I used them for my flat in hampstead and they'll charge you for fucking anything - the contract, inspection, cleaning, revisions - and they are about 15-20% more expensive than other letting agents.

if you have a specific area in mind I could recommend an estate agent. Believe me, I have lots of experience with the fookers
