A friend of mine is looking to get into more illustration for magazines and the like. Does anyone know of a good resource I can point her to to find an agent or some sort of representation for her illustration skills? Thanks.

is she good? if she isn't what's the need for an agent? :)

it's super out of date. I know that she has done some work with major airlines and some pretty big stuff. Yeah she is good. Any ideas as for where she might look to find representation?

First she should update her porfolio, then start looking. One step at a time. :)

Thanks. But when the time comes does anyone know of any reources that might help? Or does anyone know any people who represent Illustrators?
Also any ideas on where to look for such info? Web sites, agencies, etc? thanks for any help.

Hey thanks folks. Appreciate it. i'll send the info on to her. If anyone else has any advice/tips that would be super helpful. Thanks.

Just do a search on Google. I've found dozens of reps that way, and a couple I signed on with.
A word of advice though, if your friend gets in touch with an agency that wants to rep her, she should contact some of the artists repped by the agency and get the lowdown first. Some agents are definitely more proactive than others and some want a hefty investment right away.
It sucks getting stuck with a lowsy agent. I know by experience.
