i mean it when i say, i would like to be famous through philanthropy and environmental/sustainable development of some sort (if not doing design, i would love to have gone into solar work, archology, etc.)

is definition of success measured in how famous you are?
or
is it how much you get paid?
- gruntt0
actually i would rather not be famous - i was taking the question from the if I HAD to be famous angle.
but anyway.
Kona - you're the famous hammer crappin' hobo stabber with all the sluts. - now that spells character in my book.

I'd much rather be infamous!

after high schoool I found out that my name was all over the girls bathroom at this one school full of hotties, now that's famous.
Now I would just like professional recognition but remain relatively annonymous

I would honestly hate being famous.

versa. I doubt anyone will be famous for any contribution towards sustainable development.

would you rather have people know your work but not who did it?
would that me ultimate in communication design?

I'd rather just be independently wealthy. See, cuz then I can buy fame since people that are already "famous" are just whores.
I'd be much more interested in living comfortably. Owning a cafe, travelling when I feel its nevcessary, donating to specific charities. That sorta thing.
Comfort is what its all about!

I'D like my work to speak for itself, and be a recognized name but not a recognized face
