Illustrator to Freehand

  I need to convert an Adobe illustrator file (.ai) to Freehand (fh9). I am losing layers when I use the import function in Freehand. Can anyone help? Thanks.

  I have an .ai file which i need to import into Freehand cos I dont have Illustrator. If you have Illustrator , can I send for you to convert?
