nice. movin down mid sept. thought about a place in costa mesa.

its cheaper and more centrally located than laguna. laguna is nice but its kinda in the sticks to get to anywhere else in orange county. i had friends who lived there and dana point and they always had to drive 20-30 minutes to get to anybody else's house or hang out.

a lot of tourists, hippies, and gays in Laguna

laguna is sort of a paradox, cause its right in orange county, eyt its totally in its own world. i live down in san diego, but if i moved to oc i'd probably try to live in newport/costa mesa, or huntington beach. eaither way, its a crowded area and its full of tourists in the summer, but its def. a nice place to live.

i just moved to laguna niguel. i'm from the east coast so i love it here. beautiful weather, scenery, women, and cars!
plus i have a pretty fun job to top things off ;o)

I live in Laguna Hills which is L. Beach's neighboring city. I grew up here over the last 24 years. One thing you have to deal with no matter where you live in socal is the drive. Having said that, any other part of OC is only a 1/2 hour drive from L. Beach at tops. This city is unlike most of the beach cities in that it promotes the arts. Sure you can live in H. Beach or Costa Mesa, but Santa Ana and Anaheim are more central. When you live in L. Beach coming home at night makes you feel like you're in a world away. (sorry for the cheesy last line, but it be truth)

yeah i hear ya. i was there last week. coming from canada....it was amazing.
cant wait to get down there.

be sure to hit up the boom boom room ;)

enjoy so cal. the sun year round is great. really there is a place in so cal for every personality. you might love laguna and stay there.. or you might want to try somewhere else. it doesnt really matter in the end. apartment leases dont last forever and you can always move around when needed.
good luck!

Laguna Beach is super pricey! Beautiful though. Move to Huntington Beach, cheaper and funner.
- gerbert0
funner if you are a skinhead or a greaser, hahaha, j/k Mike

i noticed by the posters portfolio that he might be into snowboarding and skateboarding..ect. If thats the case, Huntington would be the ideal spot for him! Alot of the pros live in HB! Its alot younger and hipper than Laguna Beach
- gerbert0
I totally agree, I'm in Costa Mesa and there's always fun shit going on around these parts. HB is cool, I'd want to live costal HB though, not inland HB.

we could recommend him Stanton!

yea i live in the harbor area, so its a good 5 mins jog to the beach. A 5mins jog to the beach in Laguna Beach will set you back 4000/month rent!

Seriously, really the only things Laguna Beach has going for it in my opinion are. . .
1. Taco Loco
2. it's quaint
3. main beach is perty

actually got a great job from a company in laguna. very cool...so just deciding if i want to live and work there or live a bit more east since i'll be there every day...... it looks like a great place to be close to, regardless. yeah the prices are steep thats fer sure.
- shellie0
haha taco loco has all those fucking heeby geeby "lords of south county" hanging around. f* that and klobber krew.
good tofu mushroom burgers tho. dont go on potato taco night if its anything like how it was 4 years ago. if those kids are still hanging around its no good.
- gerbert0
Yea, I usually go late night when it is practically empty.
I agree shellie, nice way of putting it about those south county kids.
and you're right; I never thought I'd say this about tofu, but the blackened tofu mushroom burgers are like crack they're so good.
