Dumb question, but I have this logo I made like 6 years ago in MS Paint, right? Well in the original, I used Copperplate Gothic Bold font and italicized it.
I'm recreating the logo in Illustrator now and I can't figure out how to italicize the type. Is there an easy way to do this?
Many thanks.

See, I knew how to do that in Photoshop, but couldn't figure it out in AI. I see now that it's in the Transform panel.
Duh.
Thanks, Tim.
PS- I suck!

isn't there an italic version of that font?

in the toolbar theres a skewtool, it gives you a little bit more control then the transformeffect menu.
