..'ere we go again.

Well you tell me? Honestly, it's not that obscure.
Building brands+structure building=Brand Architects
- Mimio0
Maybe they feel they'll be more successful as motion designers without the 2A name?

" what is the point? seriously I dont get it!"
the point is to show their work in an online format. which the site does. I'd be willing to bet that team one got exactly the site they wanted.
"but what is the relationship between that website and his content"
they're brand "architects" so their portfolio is a building.
personally I think it's decent, the transitions are a bit much, but it's easy to navigate.
- fate0
I don't think it's an extension of 2a, right? TEAM ONE was just the client.
- DutchBoy0
d5ive, it keeps flickering in Safari. Did you test it in Safari?
I get this with other Flash-content as well, so it might just be a Safari bug.
- Mimio0
oh OK..I think you're right fate. It's just very 2A in look and feel.

did they create the site FOR team one? that's what I thought was going on. the 2a haters emerge!

What happens when the design of a website becomes so overproduced that the content doesn’t make sense?
Well, I get the "brand architects" metaphor; however after watching that intro I could swear they were an actual architecture firm. Looking at the work section: surprise! - Its an advertising firm....
Confused? I am.
- d5ive0
Yes, Team One is a client. I think the site rocks. The UI is simple, it portrays a solid experience and the type is classic. I feel it's another step in 2A's goal of branching out and doing something different.
- fate0
My only problem with the site is the intro. It's really heavy and doesn't seem to flow well. I like the type overlay a lot.
The rest of the site is nice, good change of pace.

ok brand architects so your navigation is a building...
a part from these, the website is what?
2Mb of loading for some 3d and motion graphic animation, when you get in the website you can see only 3 projects...I'm not saying the website is bad, is really well executed, but in my opinion this is not 'web'
- robotron3k0
ummmm.... yeah, nice 3d tree. i can see 2A is steppin' right off the curb of design and into a ditch. jeez... and besides, there is only one team in america and it's not team one...
- mg330
I really wanted it to be a site for an architecture firm. :(
That model on the first page is pretty nice. Love stuff like that.Anyone suddenly rememember what I though went away a while back?
Yah, full screen sites.
- d5ive0
Well I agree with the minimal project list. But considering when a client approaches you with an objective and an idea. Our job is to embrace and challenge. Also, to do the best damn job we can. Team One is a very well established firm, so they figured they don't need to say much.

2A aside; didn't anyone notice that on the 'skater' video the old guy says "I shacklackoed my dillet"
genius!!
name that quote!
- Gorbie0
i thought it was a site for an architectural firm...
but my attention span is that of a four year old riddlin junkie.

blip, blip, beep, zoom, swoosh... i feel motion sickness coming on.
