i'm looking for printshops that print the kind of posters that you see all over phone poles & buildings - i assume those are screen prints, but might as well be 1 color offset or digital...
the kind of really cheap, thin paper posters that usually support local music and are 1 or 2 colour.
ideally a printshop in/around seattle, but either way...

Sorry I only visit seattle.

snowy, i'm in seattle but i think most of the show posters are done at kinkos or whatever. the small bands don't have budget for that.
most reputable print shops would charge a good amount for a 2color job for posters and you might consider something cheaper, but a step up from kinkos and get it offset at like Minutemen Press or PrintTime. I've used PrintTime and i wasn't exactly happy with their quality for business cards, but for band posters they could probably do a decent job and they're relatively cheap.
hope that helps.
you can also drop cash and get a silkscreened poster from Patent Pending, http://www.thepatentpending.com

hmmm...
perhaps you're right. though i see alot of 1 color posters everywhere - from cap hill to downtown to ballard - like on every phone pole, etc., and for what appear to be pretty small shows.
seems like somebody around here has got to be doing these 1 colour prints....
