i'm just waiting for mtv to get gobbled up by amazon now...their new look definitely approaches the amazon aesthetic...

Luckily for mtv none of your opinions matter. They only care what tragically hip 12-17 year olds think and because I do not fit the bill I have no idea what those people think.
Making a website that succeeds has alot more to do with case studies and market research then a design that appeases the ever trendish design community. I can only assume they created a site like that backed by target market research. So once again, don't judge too quickly, it makes you look amateurish. .

Wow, I sat through watching most of True Life this afternoon, with these guys who do stunts on motorcycles.
Hobbies are great, more power to everyone to have fun doing something they enjoy, but watching those guys talk about it like they were huge stars, and arguing like little babies about trying to get sponsors was just laughable.
I hate so much when I have an embarrassed feeling for people on TV.
