How can I have text along a path, but keep the characters vertically aligned?
Thanks

it's a (text) tool in the later versions..

I think he's trying to say that the feature is only in later versions of Illustrator.

I want to know it too.
it goes well on top on a cicle path, but if I want to write backward on the bottom cicle, it flips over and I don't know how to flip that back to normal, so we can read from left to right.

Uh, yeah...that's what he meant.

None of those responses really answered my question :o

Draw a larger circle from the center point of the original circle (up to the top edge, capheight of the upper text).
Run text at bottom, grab the bar thingy with your direct select tool (white arrow) pull it straight up flipping text into the circle reading left to right.
ta da.
