1. I think the stripes on the lighthouse are not exactly the right perspective. Becomes obvious at the bottom.
2. In the h logo the lighthouse is dwarfed and in the v logo the type is dwarfed. Might wanna try shanging the proportions.
3. I like it .

I like the verticle but not sure about the fragile type for this type of client.

Hmm, I really want to keep the logo symbol the way it is. I feel the serif type (calson) works because of it's flexiblity and timelessness. I'm just wondering if the layout should change any...hmm...these are all good opinions. Thanks!!

Agree about the proportion, not sure that the image will hold up at small sizes. Might want to rework it to make it more immediately identifiable at a very small size.
In the vert ones as you have, that's going to be about the letterhead/website identifier size and the name is barely legible.
Do the tighten up on the kerning it's too loose for the Federal Credit Union part.
Ultimately not sure about the type face and you may want to personally cut the type face so that any fool in the marketing department can't just spit their own version out.

i like both of them...the thing about the vertiacal, and i know everyone loves it, as do it....is that if you guys start printing this on and merchandise, promoitems and such you may run into trouble with the size of the text...in that case i would go with the horizontal...
always when making a logo remember that this has to end up on something more than a website or a business card.

I like the bottom/left version. Mind you I would shift the lighthouse to the left about 10 pixels.

kern around the "T" a bit...
looks good

it's looking good, although the type is compared to the trademark too small. The kerning is not spaced enough. I like vertical #2, but can you make some variations with different type weights? Make the type alittle bit bigger.. compared to tower image.
