Just curious, are there any communities like newstoday on the internet, which focus specifically on film?
If you could help me out by posting any website links, that would be great...thanks in advanced :)

same thing but better views, you can actually choose. Way nicer then Google Groups 1.

Thats Google Groups 1 this is Google Groups 2 http://groups-beta.google.com/
but they both contain same history i think. But Google Groups 2 offers better views and layouts and way to organize your groups using labels. Anyway yeah you should be able to find groups that are related to what your looking for...if not start one... When you say online film communities? what do you mean forums regarding editing software? be more specific....there are forums on avid.com etc yeah Google Groups should do u fine.

Thanks, I never noticed Google Groups "2" before.
I was kind of looking for message boards and forums, but also link posting film sites. Sort of like a Surfstation for film.

Google Groups 1 and 2 are message boards. Google Groups 2 is better because its less heavy and it provides different views you can view a message board in news format list and tree... but yeah you can actually start your own and have people u want to just post.... but yeah im sure u explored it already by now....
