I am visiting SF from NYC soon and i was wondering the must see designer interest sites, ie , galleries, stores, offices or studios. Can any SF heads help me out?

You gotta check this show. Very design oriented plus a whos who of west coast and national subversive art. Open late for skating and viewing.

shephard fairey has a solo show up now at the shooting gallery(if you don't hate him).
shopping: after you go to kid robot, go to amoeba records, villains, villains vault, wasteland, shoe biz, ftc and most of the thrift stores are pretty good on haight.
you'll have to step over a lot of street kids that want your money but it's worth it for the stores.
