i'm sure this is a really dumb question, but it's driving me nuts.
my computer is constantly stalling, especially when i'm using safari. all i get is the spinning rainbow wheel that doesn't let me do anything for about 5-10 seconds. this has been coming up every few minutes now.
any ideas what's causing this? and better yet, any suggestions for a solution?

Try Onyx
if that doesnt work I suggest a re-install. Thats what I did.

if its only when using safari then only reinstall safari

thats just referring to the GUI on Onyx.
Sounds like you need to sort out the basic system problems using Disk Utility, Tech Tool Pro or something...or even Applecare?

thanks for the info. this problem seems to happen most often with safari, but it also occurs in all other apps. maybe it's just because i use safari the most...?
