Sooo... I go to London to meet with a client. Everything goes well, and on my way back to the airport with plenty of time on my hands I stop by a pub for a pint.
I meet Molly at this pub. We talk for hours and - of course - I miss my flight. After more pints we end up at her place. I spend the night, and two and a half days longer than planned.
I am now back in Stockholm.
I miss her.I didn't leave my number, I can't recall where she lives unless I'm on that exact street and I've even forgotten the name of the pub.
So should I go back and look for her? How would I find her?
My "marriage material" alarm kept beeping, it still is.

- iDp0

- ozhanlion0
omfg jox, how the hell didn't u leave or take numbers ??
go back and find her.
- iDp0
i think he might deserve to lose her forever after this blunder!
:P

I wasn't that drunk actually, I was just... absent at the time.
I do remember her first name, her blueish kitchen and her Beatles-poster. I'm also sure she's either a lawyer or a banker - I distinctly remember because she had those proper dresses that looks like a suit, only it's with a skirt instead, and judging by her apartment and car, she had a well-paid job. She was in her late 20s, early 30s, VERY good-looking. A Catherine Zeta-Jones look-alike, and a discreet northern accent.
That's pretty much it. Also, the pub was somewhere between Chelsea and Kensington and her apartment was a 10-20 minute cab ride away.

And according to my credit card statement, we went to The River Café and had dinner for 189£!!! ARGH!

Did you guys "connect"?
-Or was it just sex?
How will she see it, in case you decide to go look for her?
- Jnr_Madison0

Hope you got some action.

jesus! good luck fella. i'll keep an eye out for Zeta the Maneater!
so if you were drinking in chelsea way was it off or on the king's road? does that jog any memories?
- jox0
No no, nothing like that - we did connect! Um, at least I did. It was very weird, almost like we were meant to meet. (in a non-cliché kinda way)
- jox0
doesn't ring a bell, smellvetica :(
Although one of the places I visited was "10 Room", because somebody wrote down directions for me and I still have that piece of paper in my pocket.

dude, so you talked with her in that bar so-oo long that you missed your flight, then you joined her for dinner and stayed for 2 days.. did you have your head up in the clouds? How can you not remember anything?
Give the London folks on NT some more leads... i am sure they can help a bit..
- snowcat0
sounds like *somebody* was on roofies the whole time...
- jox0
Well, it was like nothign mattered. Like "there will be another flight" or "work will be there in a few days too" and "who gives a doodle about anything really".
And no, i wasn't on any funny pills, strictly wine and beer.
And i suck at names, which is why I can't remember some of the places. Maybe I should just let it sink in for a little bit..
- DutchBoy0
jox, you have the same problem as i do.. i tend to forget any name of a person or street after only minutes..
people like us usually have stronger photographic memory..
find some d00ds from London here on NT and tell them what you remember it all looked like.. the interior of the restaurant, the atmosphere of the street, the looks of her house ... anything!
