maybe an overlay or soft light layer, vignetted, blurred and tinted

maybe you should fuck around in photoshop a bit.

Why don't you get a polaroid camera and take a picture of your photo
kidding..
I would just retake the photo, if possible with a polaroid. To me, this is kind of like using a handdrawn 'style' typeface, you know? Why don't you just use the real thing?

actually i did try google and found some tutorials but they were all about how to do the "polaroid frames"...
i was thinking there could be a plugin or program that did this job, but i guess not
and yeah heffron, you're quite right with "handdrawn style" typeface thing..

actually taking a polaroid of the photo wouldn't be a bad start...multiply that by "fucking around in photoshop for a bit" and that equals amazing
i just re-read that and it sounds wierd...sorry

I;m thinking layers, selections, gaussian blurs and lighting effects, its all organic, no easy fixes, learn your software and your images
- slappy0
add some noise, blur the photo and play with the curves so you get poor colour depth?
thats what the photos that come off my phone look like... use a mobile phone?
- jevad0
duplicate layer
multiply new layer
gaussian blur
levels
distort
a fat tokevoila
- slappy0
so its basically a piece of piss
hahaha
*jevad is so dreamy

By a Lomo camera. Robust colors. Dark edges. Rich images.
