I went on vacation for a week and someone designed something here at work using both of those...also switched a font I used to eurostyle. Came back to work today and had some late 90's flashback.

here in the netherlands we write it like this:
Ringelding-code:: -0,2,0,.4,3,3,2,2,4,6.`::
whereas :: means start AND end, the - means here comes the number then, the comma's mean you can only enter these digits one by one (not at the same time) and the dot means end of citycode, and the ' means that no more digits can be added.
