start again
sorry, I'm in bad mood

I honestly like reading constructive advice on crits, it makes you see things you might not even consider

Thanks for not ripping me a new hole :)
I'm going to consolidate all this good advice and see what happens. Also thanks for the grid reminder Jevad.
Our company is into a lot of services, from fine art reproduction to OCE drawings to large format prints. I'm going to go over the images and try to communicate that better.

jevad, why were you so hard on him?
;)

oops...did we scare you off TF?

Seems like a lot is being crammed into a small box. Make use of the screen, give some room for items to breathe... I think you should push things out more.
Oh and maybe drop the Welcome line. At hate sites that say Welcome.

Not enough negative spacing.

Your layout seems really small. Especially if you consider that a lot of your clients are going to be in design or advertising and probably have big monitors.
The layout doesn't seem to "tie together", just seems to all be sitting there.

I think you should start over and try to not use the cliche'd web design look with the curvy top bar, drop shadows, and funky arrows. This isn't really lending anything to your company, and in my mind makes them look less professional.
There are also too many fonts, and there are some places (like inside the feature boxes) where the font isn't given the proper line-spacing so it has become unreadable.
Not being mean, just saying that instead of trying to fix this comp, maybe you should take the same layout you've got, but try it without all the shadows and wierd shapes.

ps - thank fuck for layout crits! I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever get another one!
- brandelec0
i think you should keep the drop shadows consistent
i'm seeing 3 different fonts and none of them go together
you should try playing off the logo which looks pretty cool
to be honest, at first i thought it was a pop-up ad, so may be give it more of a layout structure, there's no initial focus for the user, everything is big and competing with each other
- jevad0
well...you have so many different types and weights going on - I don't know where to look....
IMO - drop the serifs....they're not working.
Make the menu stand out more.
Lose the drop shadow.
Bring in a bit more color.

The design on the bottom header, i wouldn't make it fade, just retain it through, but don't fade it.
- grayhood0
if you need to use drop shadows i would at least make them all the same color.

what business is the company in?
