  *i have asked both these questions before, but want to put it out there again*

  does anyone have suggestions for php-based maillist, and search-by-category/site-search engine modules that are either free or relatively cheap ...

  i have tried to dissect some decent ones at
  http://php.resourceindex.com/ and other sites, so that I could slowly build my own, but just wanna see what else is out there, and have a few time-pushed projects coming up i will need to implement them in
