AKQA is looking for an amazingly-talented Flash Developer/Motion Designer.This position works with teams to scope, prototype and build rich web experiences. Projects include web development and online advertising, including interactive flash banners, microsites and jump pages.
Do you have impressive animation and scripting skills with a flair for integrating motion and code? This position is a combination of motion designer and scripting genius. We are looking for a team player who can script solid code and communicate and document projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years Web development experience with Flash required; online advertising experience big plus.
• Actionscript 1.0. Your code must play well with others.
• Experience with 2D, 3D, audio and video software tools.
• Working knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Exceptional animation and motion graphics skills must be demonstrated.
• Comfort level with tight deadlines; must be proactive and able to multi-task.
• Flash application development and database connectivity experience a plus.
• Object-oriented programming experience a plus.

-------------AKQA, an award winning agency, is looking for an exceptionally-talented Web Developer (Front-End) with online advertising experience to work in our Digital Studio department.
The Web Developer or Interface Engineer (Front-End) must have stellar client-side coding skills and an attentive eye for design. This position is in our Digital Studio and will work with a talented team of designers, flash experts, and software engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Translate static layouts provided by the design team into cross-platform HTML pages
• Write and debug Javascript code that adds functionality such as rollovers and form validation
• Work with software engineers to implement client-side interfaces for back-end components
• Prepare and optimize graphics for web use
• Perform testing and QA
• Work collaboratively with Studio, Creative and Producer teams to scope requirements and specifications
• Communicate, document and manage workflow on multiple projects and clients
• Keep up with changes in browser capabilities and multimedia development standardsQUALIFICATIONS: (please do not apply if you do not meet these qualifications)
• Online portfolio required with examples of work that demonstrate:
o Complex table-based and CSS layouts
o Knowledge of Javascript
o Efficient coding practices
• Expert level knowledge of hand-coded HTML and CSS
• Basic to intermediate Javascript skills
• Familiarity with the Macromedia Flash platform
• Comfortable working in a Windows, Mac, or UNIX environment
• Ability to use FTP and CVS clients
• Understanding of general QA practices
• Solid working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and the latest productions tools and web technologies
• Comfort level with tight deadlines; need to be organized, efficient, detail oriented and able to multi-task
• An eye for detail that translates static layouts down the pixel
• Passion for creating compelling web experiences
• 2-4 years professional work experience
• Bachelor's degreeADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (desired but not required)
• Experience with server-side technologies such as PHP, JSP, .NET, CGI, or CFM
• Experience with source control applications such as Teamsite
• Experience executing and/or writing QA test plans
• Flash developer (as demonstrated in your online portfolio)
