Illustrator to .psd

I'm having some problems taking an illustrator file and exporting it as a .psd.
I've separated all text to different layers (not nested) and ungrouped everything, taken all transparency off and deleted any masks and it still is being very random with the text it chooses to rasterize and the text it keeps as editable in the .psd.
Any advice or experience of this anyone? – any other little things I should be aware of when saving as a .psd?
thanks in advance.

have you tried creating outlines of the text first before exporting?

no, because I want to retain it's editability (to give an html site design to a builder)
ta anyway bud

have you tried asking 'the Photoshop'?

heehee, this photoshop is now closed. didn't suss it out, the builder now hates me and wants to kill me after I gave him one crazeee .psd

then export it to psd layers without text and put the text back in there in photoshop.

what you actually need to do josé, is dip the afforementioned files in müller lite yoghurt, the sort of stuff one throws from one's windows, shouting 'gardiloooo'-then simply dip the files in ruskoline, give them a liberal drizzel of fanny batter and then, sallyforth and send them on to your html monkey. easy as following a menstrating fucking labrador! daft eh?

if there is such a word as 'sallyforth' I will personally spray some yoghurt (*) your way micky.
how's the new venture going you crazy bas. Less ghey's to put up with? have they banned you from your golf club you pennyless scruffy oik?

In your export box in ai there is an option for editable text fire that on and it should work fine in psd :)

projects that have to go to a webbuilder i always start in Photoshop.
this is the only way to have full control over the text and pixels.except the flash websites ofcourse.

i must say i've not been banned from any golf courses since 1991, josé! as far as addressing me as a 'scruffy oik'! that's a slanderous comment which i will treat with as much disdain as to ignore it! why, at leat three times this weeknd i have been complimented on the way i was 'put on', i'll have you know that michael norton carver is a very dishy man indeed

chossy, nope it's been checked all along – that's why I get some that comes in editable and some not. I'm past caring about it now, it's not my problem.
hey mickey, people who talk about themselves in the third person are mentalists but you probably already knew that.

and stewart, yeah, some sites I do in photoshop and some in Illustrator. I just think Illus is more versatile for me and retains any vector stuff that i do. (most sites have some amount of Flash going on in them)
